Have you ever made a bad-eating choice and regretted doing it? Have you ever wanted more control over your decisions regarding treats, food or snacking?
If you answered, “YES” to any of these questions, we’re going to show you a way to be in complete control of what you eat in any scenario. We’re going to teach you how to put aside all mindless eating and make you aware of every eating choice that is placed before you. We call this concept eating awareness.
Simply put, eating awareness is being conscious of every eating choice you make. There’s one simple step to this concept…be aware. You need to be aware and admit out loud that you do mindlessly eat. You cannot move forward unless you are aware of the problem.
Eating awareness is simply having a conversation with yourself when you are about to make an eating choice. When you find yourself about to habitually grab a handful of potato chips out of the pantry say, “Stop”. “Why am I doing this?” “Am I really hungry?” “Do I really want this?” “Why do I want this?” “Is it really worth it?”
Once you learn to be aware, you find great power in removing emotional eating from your life. Here’s a great tip. Whenever you get in a situation of mindless eating, ask yourself, “Is this part of my meal plan?” Once you’re aware you have the power to say, “No”.
This process is how you resist mindless eating. We know it’s simple, but we know it works. Remember, there’s only one thing to do…be aware.

Well said!!
Great comments. What about stress eating or that so, so hard urge for chocolate?
I've often heard it said that the outspoken word is very strong. Saying things out loud helps your mind to re-set. Good advice!
